Thesis Statement
Because Samuel Adams believed in America’s freedom, Adams led a rebellion against taxation of tea by leading the famous Boston Tea Party and encourage the colonists to riot against Britain’s dictatorship with the Boston Massacre and various documents which was sent to the British Parliament.
IntroductionSamuel Adams was a political leader who opposed the British Parliament. Adams was born on September 27, 1722 to Sir Samuel Adams and Mary Adams in Boston, Massachusetts and died on October 2, 1803 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was known as a 'Radical Patriot', a 'Political Agitator', a 'Master Propagandist', 'Signer', and as one of America's Founding Fathers and the leader of the Boston Sons of Liberty Organization. Samuel Adams also entered many careers, such as a brewery owner, leader of Boston's State House, the overworked Board of War, and governor of Massachusetts. Samuel Adams was one of the colonists' voices to the freedom of the country from Britain.
